Problem
The customer was under the impression that they used to be able to edit User Names in the People Management section of PPM Express, and was unsure why they could no longer do so. The customer's goal was to maintain a naming standard of (Last, First Name) within their organization.
Solution
The support team clarified that it was never possible to directly edit User Names in the People Management page of PPM Express. They mentioned a likely confusion between editing the names of Users and Resources.

For Users:
- The name displayed in PPM Express is governed by the User's Display Name in Azure Active Directory (AD). To change a User's name, one must:

For Resources:

Additionally, the support team suggested setting up Azure Active Directory User Synchronization which would automatically synchronize user names from Azure AD groups to PPM Express. This sync would refresh the corresponding information regularly.

The customer was satisfied with the explanation and did not have any further questions, resulting in the closing of the ticket.
